Karen Karniol-Tambour, Bridgewater Associates’in Eş Baş Yatırım Sorumlusu (Co-CIO) olarak, şirketin yatırım sürecinin yönetiminden sorumludur. Ticaret stratejilerine yönelik araştırmaların sistemleştirilmesini denetler, tescilli yatırım yönetimi modellerinin geliştirilmesini yönetir ve müşteri yatırım stratejilerinin tasarımı ile uygulanmasına liderlik eder. Ayrıca, müşterilere ve küresel politika yapıcılara zamanında piyasa analizleri sunan Bridgewater’ın Günlük Gözlemleri yayınından da sorumludur.

Karen, firmanın sürdürülebilir yatırım girişimlerini yönlendirerek hem finansal hem de çevresel/sosyal hedefleri destekleyen yeni yatırım çözümlerinin geliştirilmesini de denetlemektedir.

2006 yılında Princeton Üniversitesi’nden mezun olduktan sonra Bridgewater’a katılmıştır.

Bridgewater dışındaki faaliyetlerinde ise Karen:

  • Dış İlişkiler Konseyi (Council on Foreign Relations) dönem üyesi,

Kadın liderliğini destekleme konusunda kararlı bir savunucu olan Karen, kadınlar tarafından yönetilen teknoloji girişimlerine odaklanan aktif bir melek yatırımcıdır.

Başarıları arasında, 2019 yılında Fortune tarafından “40 Yaş Altı En Etkili 40 Lider” listesine seçilmesi ve art arda beş yıl boyunca Barron’s tarafından “ABD Finans Dünyasında En Etkili Kadınlar” listesine dâhil edilmesi yer almaktadır.
